Acne I tried everything but accutane, Last hope?

I got a pimple and some cystic acne spots. It usually precedes a breakout. I am going to try and get on accutane. Does it cause scars? Should I let the spots heal first or should I get on accutane immediately?

I have literally tried everything you can imagine. Diets, low glycemic, multi vitamin, salads, low carb, you name it. Cut out all flour and sugar. I get temporary relief and it comes back. I would give a testicle to get away from acne. I have prayed, I have did meditation and all sorts of things. I finally gave up on nutrition and organics after spending $125/hr on a natural pathic doctor. I have seen a dermatologist and took a topical and antibitoics when all else failed. I continued eating healthy and dieting but, here I am again, with this ****.

As of now, I got cystic acne 2 spots, left and right side near my ear and a spot on my face that is a pimple. For christ sake, I hope it doesn't scar. I tried to see my doctor but he is booked up. I am going to see if I should start accutane immediately or if I should wait. I don't want to be scar face but, after years of this ****, my skin is less then perfect. I have a scar on my face. I am very self conscious of it. It is not fair. I eat well, I workout, I have a 6pack and yet, I battle this ****. Its depressing but, I am trying to be intelligent and smart about it.

Are they tiny little bumps? if they are it probably just
"penile pearly papules" and occurs in most people. You can look up an image of it under that name and compare to yours. It's probably very similar. Again, completely normal!!! This is not a disease of any kind, so you can relax! Still,

Have you given Proactive a try? I can't recommend any product because I was
lucky I never had any problems growing up with any skin problems.

Well for **** sakes, I am in my 20s, 23 almost nearing mid 20s and this **** continues. I have abs from working out but mainly through a great diet. I workout regularly and yet, this **** continues. I wonder, if I take accutane, will this eliminate current acne? My fear is that the current pimple scars. For christ sake, this has been my entire youth. I want to date. Its ******* valentines day and I never get a break. it is very frustrating. My skin is far from perfect as is nevermind more acne or possibly a scar.

Conventional medical wisdom holds that hormones, not diet, are the main causes for the development of acne, particularly during the teenage years. However, some interesting evidence now suggests a possible link between acne and obesity driven by eating a high-glycemic load diet. A recent review published in August in the dermatology journal Cutis indicates that acne may be promoted by the same kind of diet that triggers insulin resistance, a condition that can develop when the normal amount of insulin secreted is not sufficient to move glucose into the cells, causing an increase in both insulin and blood sugar levels.
