In the last couple of days ive had trouble going to the toilet. When i take a s**t, there is a small amount of blood that comes out and it is quiet painful. The soreness is on the edge of the anus, slightly inside.
Could it be somesort ofinfection?a cut?

just a little sidebar here, i had an odd job once that took me into the homes of the mega rich (i'm talking billions) and one thing i noticed in these mansions is that they ALL had
stuff to read and phones and such in the "john". i was interested in seeing how they spent their time and what they
did. they seemed to have alot of crosswords and other mind games, as well as all the finacial news items that you would expect. it seemed they wasted no time at all, even if they
just did a puzzle or two while on the "hopper". funny, but
it made sense that these folks use every minute of their time
keeping their "noodle sharp !     l.e.

Thanks to all for the tips. The vegetable, fruit and water diet helped SOOOOOO  much. cheers.
Washed it out gently in a hot bath like 3 times over a day.
2 days later and everything is all good.
felt uncomfortable about going to the doctors about it so tried all your tricks in the book. i think it was definetly caused by too much straining on the toilet and too much time doing crosswords

get it checked right away, thats not a good thing to ignore.
blood in stool can be from alot of things !
i had a bout of really bad food poisoning once and ended up with
something called a fistula (spell check).  it was a result of
many many trips to the toilet, it bled too, and it had to be operated on, it was painfull as hell !
but get yourself checked, it could be from other more serious
causes !                 l.e.

It may be a fissure from hard stools constipation if it feels like a cut. You should get any bleeding checked by a doctor. It could be an internal hemorroid or polyp best to get it checked to rule out other things. Try more vegetable and cereal fibre in your diet and yoghurt to smooth the path. Do drink lots of water.
