***I posted this question in Urology as well***
I have a large bulging deep dorsal vein/artery (I don't know which) on my penis. I do know it is "deep" (not connected to skin) and it is dorsal (that is it goes neither left nor right).
It is uncommon; from what I have seen it is somewhat unique. It is almost always swollen even when other veins, ie arms, are not visible. The pressure does not vary greatly. It is rather painful and irritating when it rubs clothing or if I am not sitting right (very frequent) or during other activities, and has been this way for my entire life.
It starts from the pubic area and runs the length of the penis and at the circumcision line it make a ? curve and then abruptly stops. All other penises I see do not have an S curve (possibly because of maximum extension) and they certainly do not bulge the way mine does. All of these other penises have a vein that extend up into the glans (except for one or two). Mine stops abruptly, and has one or two small veins that seem to branch from this point into the glans -- sort of like an afterthought.
Of the few sexual partners, OK THE sexual partner I've been with, she asked why it was like this and it made me somewhat self conscience. I also had difficulty achieving a satisfactory erection -- at times.

OK, I am circumcised. The GOMCO clamp seem to be the device that was implemented. The mechanism which this device uses puts the clamping close to the deep veins in a way that other circumcisions avoid by doing the cutting sufficiently away from the shaft.
SO seeing that cutting foreskin and not penile anatomy was the premise of the ungainly contraption, could my dorsal vein have been severed?
There is a skin bridge scar and blood spots on the dorsal side, and they kept me for a couple of days. Could this have been an attempt to repair a vein/artery or watch it bleed out?
If ligation of a vein seems plausible, could this cause erectile disfunction, in part or in whole?

I do have (relatively) very intense morning erections. But these not as achievable otherwise.
I have not investigated Viagra but l-arginine does improve duration.
My genitals are notably darker than the rest of my body except for the glans and what is left of the foreskin.
