Do I have Cellulitis?

I have spots on my scalp, each being smaller than a dime. They are mostly on the left side of my scalp and are not in any particular pattern. They have large flakes when my hair is a little long (1/4 inch or more) and they just look like big dandruff flakes. If i scratch it off, its red and hurts. I have been shaving my head over the last couple months, and when I do that, they don't appear, but if i stop shaving for a couple weeks, then i get them again. I also have been getting a boil or two on the top of my head at least every other week. I had scratched them off thinking they were zits at first, and then they would heal and go away. They keep popping up though. Last night I shaved my head again, and i noticed that the red scaly spots were covering the left side of my head, the back, and some on the right. I have two boils right now, too. My insurance isn't great, and I cant afford to get these checked out until January 1st. trying to get any ideas of what I might have going on, and if it will be dangerous to hold out on visiting the doctor for two months. I feel like I've already been dealing with this since earlier this year.
