Dry penis for almost a year

Hi All,

I probably had some kind of yeast/bacterial infection (red spots on penis glans) last year. A applied clotrimazole for a few days and they disappeared. Since then (it'll be almost a year now) I'm still having weird issues.
No visible skin conditions, no pain while urinating/ejaculating, no blood, no swelling, nothing....just dryness.
Right at the beginning I had 2 urine samples taken - no bacterial infection, nothing. Then a few months later I had STD panel via urethra swab and nothing came out positive.
My problem is that my penis glans is dry (wrinkled) and it sometimes feels burning on the outside, pinching sensation as if my foreskin was tight (but it's not). During my night boner my penis is itching on the entire length, on the outside (never during the day)
I notice that these feelings almost subside after shower (in the evening), I feel nothing during the night and then during the day it gets more noticeable during morning and afternoon. I've talked to a venerologist twice and he thought it's just psychological and gave me moisturizing cream (Lipobase). It does get better, but those burning/pinching sensations are still there albeit less pronounced.
I do mostly sedentary work so in general I think it's worse when I'm sitting. During the weekends I sometimes go unnoticed and twice I was on holiday and felt nothing for couple of days.
I'm now inclined to really thing that it's just stress/sedentary work. Do you have any recommendations for me? I have an appointment with urologist but it's going to happen in couple of months and it's still bugging me.

Thanks

So, this is skin related, right? Began after using clotrimazole on your penis? https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-4316/clotrimazole-topical/details  This article has some info. The second page talks about side effects and you probably just dried out your skin. Washing with gentle soap and drying gently is good. Cotton, non friction type of underwear. Using some non irritating lotion. And if it continues, see your doctor. This type of irritation after using clomitrazole is common.

I've heard that, I've been using the Clotrimazole for nearly 3 months (3 times a day), but it was a long time ago and I'm wondering if that drying effect could still be around. I've been using the moisturizing cream in the last 3 months...isn't that enough? I do wash only with water.
