Epididymitis for 7 months in right testicle, 20 year old, my life is ruined.

Hello, I have had epididymitis for the past 7 months. I have tried 21 day course of cipro, 4 week course of doxycycline, a dose of azithromycin, 1 week course of bactrim. I am very young too (20 years old) and this condition is stopping me from doing daily tasks. I have trouble sitting. I have had ultrasound, blood test, urine test all negative but physical examination revealed epididymitis which was missed on the ultrasound. But the ultrasound did show increased vascularity in the epididymis.
The pain is mainly localized to the right epididymis but also travels to the right knee. The doctor said it is not prostatitis after doing the digital rectal examination.
Ultrasound of kidneys was done to rule out kidney stones and was negative.
How did this epididymitis begin? It began at the end of 2012 when I started having discomfort while sitting on the chair, sometimes I did get a little fever but I ignored it. After a couple days, I read that ejaculation would help with the discomfort since it could be a build up or congestion. So I ejaculated and then the I got severe shooting nauseating pain in my nut sack and I couldn't stand or sit properly or even lie down properly. I went to the emergency after some days and they said it was epididymitis and put me on antibiotics. Now it is almost end of 2013 and I am still stuck with this problem. What to do? Please help.
