Feels as if my surrondings are moving when im not!

I've been having weird feelings. When im at school in a classroom just sitting down, It will feel as if the room is moving. Not spinning, but just like my equilibrium is off? Another example of this, is when im driving, and then come to a stop, it feels as if im still moving, when im completely stopped. This has been getting to me lately and its happening more and more often. I get sick to my stomach when this happens and I feel almost as if im going to throw up. Is this due to stress? I talked to my doctor and he seemed kinda baffled and was clueless.. Any help?

Have your doctor  give you the Dix-Hallpike Test. This involves you lying on your back with your head 45 degrees to one side and 20 degrees backward. If he witnesses a burst of nystagmus (the eyes jump up and twist suddenly), then the test is positive for BPPV. He will then probably order lab tests (an ENG--electronystagmography--among others) to rule out any more serious medical condition.

Dizziness can be one of the symptoms of anxiety and depression. I have both and I also get dizzy when I'm really stressed.
But you said this happens sometimes when you get up out of bed and come to a stop while driving. I think it would be a good idea to have your ears checked. If you have an ear infection or allergies this can throw of your equilibrium.   Remar

Also, when I get up out of bed, I get very light headed, where I feel like I'm going to pass out.

I have had problems of depression in the past but got a hand on it through therapy. Also i've had other problems that were very strange that my doctor said was stress induced and said it was my bodies way of reacting too it..
