Iodium based medicine external use infertility

Hello, my question is probably stupid but has persecuted me for so long that I cant take it anymore and I need help to figure it out..

When I was younger, around 13 yrs(now im 20) I had a little wound on my penis, a little cut, so I stupidly decided to disinfect it with the first thing I had at hand, an oral cavity disinfectant with IODIUM as the active ingredient, it's called: IODOSAN GOCCEMED so I applied it on the penis and scrotum-
It burned alot and I waited for like 5 minutes before cleaning it.

My concern is that I read that iodium has DENATURATION properties and not really knowing what that means I thought(more than thinking im just scared as hell) that it could have made me infertile.

Is that possible? That the external application of a iodium based medicine on the scrotum could cause infertility?

Thank you very much.
And sorry for the ignorance.

No, it would not have made you sterile.  Never worry about asking, sometimes the answer will relieve your mind.  If you wish, talk to a pharmacist about what the ramifications of using this medication would have been.  But you would not have gotten infertile.

ps -- Also, never assume you are infertile and use this as a form of birth control.  Many "infertile" men wind up having accidental babies and are very surprised.
