Is this a simple case of friction blistering?

I have what appears to be a blister-like area on the too of my penis at the base of the head and into the shaft.

It is itchy and was previously sore, slightly swollen (has subsided) and slightly opaque.

There is no discharge from that site nor my penis; I am having no trouble urinating and there is no blood or discoloration of my urine except being more yellowish (meaning I'm not drinking enough water).

I am on aspirin, Brilenta, Rosuvastatin, Hydrochlorothiazide and motoprelol for heart and BP conditions.  I have been on these a month now with no other observed side affects.

Is this what is called a friction blister?  My wife and I last had intercourse on Monday night.

Thank you for any input; I have pictures if there is a way to upload.

It could be a friction blister, or a fungal infection, or eczema, or really, a host of other things. Even with a picture, we can't diagnose you. The best way to know is to let your doctor take a look. Unfortunately, there are just too many possibilities for us to determine what it could be. Don't let it wait.
