Lump in the Scrotum

Hi,

I recently saw a doctor about a free floating lump in my scrotum about the size of a pea. He referred me to a urologist and I also had an ultrasound. They confirmed that it was a cyst and nothing to worry about which was a relief.

My question is what are my options for removing the cyst? It is not painful, but it is large enough to be detrimental to my self confidence and sex life. I remember at the time the urologist said they dont like to operate down there before the patient has had children unless the lump is massive. But I would really like for it to be gone. Can it be drained? I would have thought it would be a simple operation as it is not attached to anything and moves around freely?

Thanks for any advice,

Kind Regards

Jonathan.
