Hi,
It is possible that he no longer gets stimmulated the same. I'm 46 and have had problems with ED since about 1999. My urologist has been able to help me with this in the form of Caverject injections.
The result is that I can engage into sexual intercourse with my wife however I'm seldomly able to ejeculate. The plus side is that with the injections I can last for over an hour. Should I desire to ejeculate but am not able to do so, I have learend to live with that. I even had times where my wife would stimmulate me manually but I was not able to ejeculate.
For the last three years now I have had to live with a catheter in due to urological issues, As a result sexual intercourse has not been possible. Even with that there is a sexual closeness with my wife that I can enjoy. Learn other ways of pleasing each other. Ejeculation is not a must. The more he focuses on not being able to ejeculate the more it becomes a problem. Let the sexual intercourse be enjoyed without pressure to ejeculate and at times it will happen. It used to for me. At first I focused far too much on it. As we learned to just enjoy each other it once in a while happened on it's own. Relax and enjoy.
All the best.
Ron
