Hi,
By the way, are you on some medications? Have you changed your food habits of late? Did the level of stress go up of late?  If none of these is true, next step may be an evaluation by a cardiologist, if the condition persists.

Your English is quite good, just do not worry about it.

Thanks again. About four months ago, I did  a complete blood count and every thing was within reference range. Also,I checked the thyroid function
and the results were :
Total T3 105ng/dl    range  (70 - 170)
Total T4 6.8 ug/dl  range (4.5 -12.5)
TSH 1.1 uIU/ml       range (0.3 - 4.9)

I have recently measure the blood glucose , randomly,  and it was normal (105). I wonder, since every thing is OK, why my sexual desire is too weak.

Remark : I am sorry for my bad  English, as my natural language is Arabic

Hello,
If your lab reference range is so, then you should be OK from sex hormone point of view. The different ranges are possibly due to different measurement methods used to assess free T. Whatever you are now experiencing may be a short term effect and may get corrected by itself. Other health aspects that could also be additionally checked in this case may be a general blood check up including thyroid hormone levels and blood glucose levels.

Thank for your interest. The normal range for free T , given by my lab, is
8.7- 40 pg/ml . I wonder why different  labs give different  normal ranges for free T.

Remark: I am from Egypt, obviously the labs here give different normal ranges.

Hi,
From the readings, LH, FSH and T levels appear to be good, but the free T is much on the lower side, 15 pg/ml as against 46 to 224 from Quest Lab and 90 to 300 from Mayo Clinic. You may need to do further blood test to assess the health of your thyroid, liver and also check up your glucose level. A check on estrogen level both total and free may be also required to know if the reduction in free T is due to high estrogen level.
By the way, I am eager to know what your doctor has commented, since only he knows more about your health status after physical examination.
