Pain at Base of Penis

Hello,

This is kinda embarrassing, I have a dull ache at the base of my penis, on the top, right where the penis connects with the body/groin. This ache also slightly goes down the left side a bit, by the side of the penis and testicles. Now I'm single, no gf, not married, not seeing anyone at all, and I know I haven't had sex for at least the last 3/4 years, that's the main embarrassing bit :(  so I'm pretty sure its nothing sexual.

The other embarrassing thing is this, I was perfectly fine until the other day when I masturbated. Next day I had this aching problem. Is it possible I've pulled or strained a muscle in this area? I looked up the area on the top of the base of the penis where it aches the most, the dorsal vein. This is the main spot where it aches the most and I'm sure I can feel a little nobbly section there when I press inwards a bit, but unsure if that was like that before.

I have no pain when I pee, no pain when I'm erect, I only get pain if I play with myself, although the area to the left did feel a bit tender for a couple days, but that seems to have calmed down now. So have I possibly tugged to hard on my penis here? or is it something more serious to check out?

Thanks for any advice.

Hello, I have noticed that the pain comes from a spot on the top of the penis, at the base, where the penis just connects to the groin. There seems to be a very small oblong nodule type bump when I press down on the sore spot. But it feels like its connected to something, maybe the dorsal vein or possibly a muscle or something (fatty cyst type thing?), it doesn't feel like singular worrying lump and you can't see it, you can only feel it when you press down on the area. The left side of the penis/just under testicles, again if you press inwards, is a bit sore.

Could this simply be a strain/pull or something like that or should I be a bit more concerned?

Forgot to mention, I have no visible problems, no swelling, redness, lumps or bumps, no veins sticking out or anything like that, it all looks normal.
