Penis problems - gross yellow substance, itchy, red and Ive had enough

I have had this problem with my penis for a long while now, quite a few years.

I have a nasty problem which comes and goes, and I think it is a result of my foreskin not retracting whilst my penis is erect. I develop foul smelling yellow discharge from my penis, and often it dries up on my penis just underneath where the foreskin should come down to. It hurts when I pull the foreskin back to clean it, and masturbation is a problem, I have never done it the traditional way, I have to mimick the sex act with my stomach on a bed for me to orgasm.

I am so sick of the yellow discharge, can anybody tell me what it is, how to stop it (please dont say circumcision it makes me feel sick). I am a 24 year old male and have a real hard time looking at penis issues, I become sick in the stomach.

Hey man, i used to have that problem about retracting the skin. It used to scare me to actually see my whole penis head exposed. But it is completely normal and it doesn't hurt.just pull back the skin and wash well. You'll enjoy having a full clean penis. Trust me! do it.Cause i thought i used to clean well, but you wont clean good enough if you don't pull back the skin.

Hi, it has been ten years, when it started to give me a yellow discharge, and that was due to i guess a mistake. i took necessary medicines and vaccinations at that point of time, and the problem vanished, but this has not completely stopped. Like every two years, this yellowish discharge takes place, summer, winter no definite season aswell. Let me also mention that there is severe inflammation at times during the urine passage and blood release which is extremely painful. I would like to know, what is the final solution to this, and how can i bring this to an end

Thanks, I really appreciate that website and advice. Even the thought of retracting my foreskin makes me feel sick, I dont know why; it is so hard for me to do.

There are medications (certain prescription creams) that can help with tight foreskins.  It does not always have to be a surgical solution like circumcision.  Go to nocirc.org and see if you can get any info there, or contact them to see if there is still a list of foreskin-friendly urologists.

You can also retract gently in the shower every day (as far as you can comfortably) and clean the smegma every day, as much as you can using a very mild soap and rinsing well.

Thanks buddy, I appreciate that. It's not an STD, I can guarantee that - I think it's Smegma, and I have that condition where the foreskin doesnt peel down enough, which aggrevates it.

Are you sexually active?  Have you seen or even told a doctor about this? Discharge from your penis is never a good sign and usually indicates an std.  I'm hesitant however to say that it DEFINATLY is an std, b/c if it's been persisting for years, it's not consistant w/bacterial stds.  (Usually chlamydia and ghonnorea will clear on it's own after 6 months to a year.)  But I have to wonder of your sexual exposures too.  Maybe you are reinfecting yourself or not giving it the chance to clear up.  I'm not trying to scare you and it could me something else.  The only way to get a difinitive answer is to see a health care provider.  Good luck!
