Pimple/Cyst inside rear canal

I am a 40 yr. old male.
I have a pimple/ball looking 'something' just at the entrance of my anal canal. It has happened once before, but was not as big that time. It was there for about 2 weeks then went away. This time has concerned me because it got bigger. I have no problems going to the bathroom...but it does at times itch a little and is a bit sensitive. And of course when i am showering and cleaning myself down there, I can feel the little ball/pimple.
I am trying these forums being that i do not have health insurance and am hoping it is nothing serious.
Any suggestions on what this might be would be great!!!

I have what appears to be the same exact thing. Have you had this checked out yet?

It sounds like you may have a boil.  Boils are infections of hair follicles and need to be lanced by a physician.  Don't try to "pop" it yourself.  See your physician.
