Thrush

Hello,
I am 23 and just noticed the head of my penis shedding, I researched it and it seems like thrush. I have a lot of questions:

How did i get it, i want to know every way I or a male get it! I have a girlfriend, and we do have sex.. she hasn't mentioned anything about her vagina. I cant afford any kind of creams or doctors. So how long will this last?
Is it a life thing, if goes untreated? Can I past it one thro oral sex? So if go untreated how long will it last? Please I am desprest, and cant stop thinking about it. I have never cheated, nor has she( to the best of my knowledge)
thank you!

Hi,
Do you clean the area daily and immediately after sex, if not, that is  all that you need to do. Since you have no itching, it does not appear to be a problem.
