Too much porn/masturbation cause ED?

Hi I m a 28 year old and suffer some degree of ED in recent. I start masturbated since I m 19 and usually use porn as a form of visual stimiulation. I have observed that I have lost the ability to maintain erect during intercource or I only get weak erection. My question is: does masturbation in association with porn will "exhaust" my interest towards sex and create a negative impact on my ability to get aroused in real sex? I m worried cause I think I m still young to have physical cause  for ED. Any thought?

When all this PORN/MB started last year, i was also battling contact dermatitis, that coincidentally appeared at the same time i became aware of my addiction. And having Peripheral neuropathy, that started this januarary hasnt helped my situation. I am capable of getting an erection, and orgasming( the sensation is not very intense, because of the loss of sensations). Ill be seeing neuropthamologist sometime next week, to seek if this is nerve damage due to injury, infection, drugs, or autoimmune disease. My case is truely a neurological now, and it affects my MB/Porn recovery processes.
To let you know what neuropathy is
- i have pins and needles on the left side of my body, and sometimes on the right, but have largely dissapated, but still recur in light amounts. my right side of the body seem to have loss some sensations(feeling your arm and legs move).
-prickling,jabs of pain, tingling, are all part of the neuropathy. On many occasion my penis gets the prickling, stinging, and itchiness, which desensitizes the penis at the same time.

I am aware of diabetes which is the most common cause of neuropathy, also can be the cause of ED, i realize that Diabetes causes ed, by Neuropathy, nerve damage to penis. i will be asking if could be tested for it as well.
-i ALSO am trying to not see my PCP, because she thinks all the problems i am having are in my head(long story how she came to that conclusion.) I will be seeing specialists to see where i can go from here. i wouldve have answers months ago if i had a job and insurance, i am on welfare with california, so appts are slow.

What age are you ? Have you had sex before or were they your first times ? Is this the first time you experience erection problems ? 90% of erection problems are psychological. They are usually caused by stress, performance anxiety, depression...

But there is growing evidence that they can also be caused by viewing too much porn (as it allegedly re-wires the brain) and too much masturbation (training your penis to porn and to react to your hand only, "death-grip", etc...)...

So yeah, I think the fact that masturbating so often might be affecting your libido. Some men watch porn and masturbate all the time, and they have no erection problems. In fact, some men are machines that can have sex 6 or 7 times in an evening, and every time have a rock solid erection and last long. I know that because women that I have slept with have told me that these guys existed. Needless to say I am very, very jealous of them ! no wonder some women prefer dating these guys rather than "normal" people like you and I... anyway, rant over...

Some men DO have erection problems, and in order to regain erections they need to stop viewing porn and masturbating altogether. So give it a go Advait, and tell us how you get on.

Guys, I need your help. I have been unable to have inter course (thrice) now. I did have erections while I was making out with these bful women but when the time came to go the distance, my erection died down.
I am wondering if there is something wrong with me and I should go to a doctor. I do masturbate frequently (3-4 times a week) and I am wondering if that is part of the problem. I do have erections early morning and so on. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

I too feel a lot more confident, and I have more energy than when I used to watch porn and masturbate regularly.

I had sex with a new girl last week-end. She was a hot blonde with a great body ! she was a complete nymphomaniac though lol she screamed so hard and was so excited that it actually put me off. It put me off because I don't necessarily want my neighbours to know what I am up to, and also I thought she must be faking it, it didn't sound natural....

and I couldn't keep it up once I entered her ! Needless to say she was disappointed afterwards and she thought I wasn't comfortable wit her. I told her I was but that the condoms were killing any kind of feeling in my penis... which is actually true as well. But I don't think she will want to have sex with me again. I am not even sure I want to, because I have this other girl that I am seeing regularly, who is less hot, but we get on really well and the sex is nice... I would feel kind of guilty seeing another girl regularly... we'll see...

I like your suggestion Jaga, I'll try to do it and keep to it.
