UTI in men

Went to Doctor because I was having some clear discharge and got tested for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia urinalysis and culture.  all test came back negative and found out it was mucus in my urinalysis.  Long story short they said I had a UTI.  I did not  know men can get UTI.  Has any other men experienced this

Hello,  have you had any follow up?  Typically if symptoms do not resolve, they test urine again.  Have you recovered?

I’d for sure test accurately for mycoplasma genitalium. No antibiotics for 3-4 weeks and test first void urine.

Uti's are common in women, but not so much in men. Only about 3% of all men worldwide get UTI's.  You are part of that group.  Hopefully antibiotics will clear it up and you'll not have to worry about it again. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/320872.php
