UTI or STD?

On Thurs oe Fri I went tl the bathroom at a public restroom. I think I touched the inside of the toilet. Friday night it burned when I went pee just at first. I had been very dehydrated in the days before as well. I began to drink a lot of water. On Sunday it still burned. I have had some diaphrea when I wake up. I went to the Dr. And they said it was a UTI based on a urine test. I have only been sexually active with one person for the last few months and have not had sex with them for a week. We stopped because started her period. The Dr. mentioned it could be an STD but she does not think so but still wanted to test for it. I have noticed in the last day or so of taking antibiotics there has been some whitish discharge as well. The burning has almost stopped since taking the antibiotics also.

Does this sound like a UTI or STD? Can I get an STD without having sex? From a toilet? Ftom dehydration?

You can't get an STD without having sex, from a toilet, or from dehydration.  You either have a UTI, or you or your partner have been having sex with other people.
