i have told him to try the kegel exercises and he is 20 yrs old. we have an appointment for march 19th for the 2nd dr. and it is still going on. he can tell the difference between the peeing and the regular ejaculation but sometimes has trouble making sure the right one happens. we shall try and see if he emptys his bladder and then proceeds with sex if that changes anything

Hello,
What is your boy friend's age ? I would suppose that he might have developed this symptom of late and it has nothing to do with the partner. What happens if he empties his bladder before sex?, if in this case if it does not happen, it would mean that when the bladder is nearly full, the muscle is partly losing its control. Are you sure he does not have urinary urgency issues ? May be some pelvic floor exercises like Kegel will help. Go to the urology department of a good hospital and get him diagnosed properly for treatment.

well we did go 2 the doctor and it is urine not sperm coming out and in his 40 years of experience he has never seen a problem like that before. we have been referred to another urologist for a second opinion. very rarely does it come out like regular sperm but the rest of the time its urine. i have looked and looked for information and i havent come up with anything. there is no pain with urination or ejaculation and we have been checked for std's and nothing there. if someone hears anything please share the info. thanks

Hi,
If what you have mentioned is right, the ejaculate volume is about 500ml, which is normally expected to be around 2 to 4 ml only. It appears that the urine is getting mixed with semen. As I understand, the bladder out put gets closed during ejaculation by the action on the sphincter muscle by the prostate gland and if so, I would assume that there could be some problem with the prostate or the sphincter muscle control. Is he able to  manually hold the urine while urinating? Did he have any prostate or bladder operation? In any case, you are going to see the doctor and you will get a proper diagnosis then. Please keep us informed about the doctor's remarks.

Generally speaking the color of semen you should see is white or a varying shade of white. This seems to the normal color for a healthy semen and sperm combination. However, there are cases where the color may appear yellowish, sometimes referred to as “yellow sperm” or “yellow semen”.The cause of yellow sperm is uncertain but it is believed that it can be caused by infection, or foods which are rich in sulfur such as garlic and onions. Another possible cause for yellow semen could be the natural thickening of semen; especially if you have not ejaculated for quite some time.
