chronic prostatitis or???

I am 40 years old and recently been diagnosed with chronic prostatitis. I am dating a new girlfriend and had unprotected oral and protected sex. I started experiencing a heavy feeling in testicles and dull abdomin pain around that time but not sure exactly when. i would relax and it usually went away but re-occurred daily for a few weeks. I went to a doctor who examined me and I appeared ok.
he perscribed antibiotics which i took. I started to notice  burning on tip of penis after urination, was mild but finished anti biotics...after the pain became much worse. I never had any noticeable discharge ( i checked often!!) and i had to urninate often. Often I would dribble alot afterwards and felt unwell, no temperature.
I went to my doctor and explained and showed him my swollen urethra and he said he believed it was chronic prostatitis.
I provided a urine sample to check for Gon and clam and they came back as negative. I met urologist who asked about symptoms and checked prostate. he stated chronic prostatitis as well and gave me 6 weeks of antibiotics.
I have started to feel better, urge to urinate constantly slowly subsiding, burning urethra gone but still puffy and seem like a tiny bump on it which has been there for 12 days or its just swelling??. no pus in it or discharge but bladder area sometime painful.
It also seems to get re-aggravated once i ejaculate, the burning comes back and urethra swelling worse.
If that just some of the infection in prostate coming out and re-aggravating. do you believe the diagnosis is correct. any concern  for me or recent partner who has not complained of anything?the doctor says i should lay off alcohol and clean up my diet and start working out as well which could help.
any feedback is greatly appreciated!

From what you described, it's very likely chronic prostatitis. The long-term use of antibiotics will develop drug resistance. Since the treating course of chronic prostatitis is long, it would be better to take medicine with no side effects like herbal medicine called diuretic and anti-inflammatory pill.   Hope it can help you.
