side effects--if you drink too much high cal weight gainer you can feel sluggish and bloated because it's so rich. Some people get indigestion and spend a lot of time in the bathroom.  Supplements aren't regulated by the FDA like medicines are, so they can put anything in there and claim anything they want about how good it works, how it gives "the same gains as steroids", use meaningless terms like "mega-bolic", etc. etc. They won't have to answer to anyone until there is a lawsuit or someone dies. Stimulants like ephedrine used to be a big ingredient in lifting and diet supps until some users died. Nobody could prove it was the ephedrine that killed them, still, it was taken off the market.

Over the counter supps aren't going to make or break your gains. Consistency, steadily increasing poundages, increasing calories thru nutritious food, plenty of rest--these will work in the long run. You probably won't get as huge as the guys in the muscle-mags---99% of them are on drugs and that is an absolute fact.

I would cut back to 3-4 lifting days a week. Make sure you get plenty of sleep. Arm wrestling is great, but how is your strength in squats, deads or overhead press?

I looked at the ingredients/nutrients info on both MM2000 and MM4000. To be honest, I can't see where they get the numbers-calories- of 2000 and 4000. The numbers don't seem to add up when you combine the product and the milk (or water). It's also pretty expensive. I still think you could do better with a few more glasses of milk and a couple tuna sandwiches. or Chicken, or even peanut butter.

However you increase your cals, build up slowly.

It's better to increase your intake with real food. Try to eat 5 meals a day. Include lean meats and tuna or other fish. If you can drink milk, then increase that too. Also fresh fruits and vegetables. Cut out sodas and candy, junk food to make room for the good stuff. A glass of milk builds more muscle than a coke.

You won't increase your mass unless you increase your strength. Increase your poundages in exercises like the squat, deadlift, bench press, overhead press, chin-ups, dips. When you can do sets of 10 reps or more of chins or dips, tie extra weight to a belt to make it harder. These are as good as barbell exercises. If you build up strength in these exercises and eat more, you will get bigger.

I wouldn't suggest doing either. You are buning a lot of calories working out. Increase your caloric intake with your diet. It is a matter of math. If you take in more calories than you are burning a day then you will gain weight.

How many days a week are you working out and for how long? You may also consider reducing the number of days you work out or cutting back on the length of your work out time to cut the total number ofm hours a week that you work out.
