my hair is suddenly falling out drastically.

I have been under alot of stress in the past two years due to divorce, physical problems, addiction to pills (oxycontin), smoking and losing my job and career...many other problems in my life. I am 40 years old and have always had a thick wavy head of hair. I started using a product made by Nissin which is a medicated shampoo followed by a treatment that gets massaged in. Anyone have any advice like do I wait and see how the treatment works or should I seek medical help? I don't want to face a hair transplant in the future but if this is my only option then can the hair be taken from my back or buttox? I have enough hair in these areas to make a full wig.

Steve p.s. At 40 I've never had a problem with thinning hair before, is it possible to have it grow back in all areas?

John I was appreciating everything you had told me and I was being honest and open here about my given situation. Every guy thinks that their life would be great with a huge penis. I'm telling you that there are drawbacks and times of embarassment like when I was in highschool gym class playing soccer outside on the field, a couple of guys who had always joked about me in the showers sneeked up behind me and dropped my pants (and underware) to my ankles. I stood there naked from the waist down listening to all of the teen boys and girls chuckle followed by a bunch of whistles and people were clapping saying "look at the shlong on the dude".
From that day forward the rumours started and I was called "freak boy"," Stevie Shlong" and "big boy" among other things. I have talked to a doctor about my size and he said I'm very lucky but if I was interested in becoming a little smaller, he would look into it and see what my options are. He never got back to me.
I do have pics but don't want to create problems here on this site. I never said I was proud of it ( I consider myself a freak) and I don't understand why the person who was kind enough to reply to me has now called me a "*********"?
Aside from pain meds I also take meds for depression so I'm hoping you all can understand.

Hair loss is a hormonal process. The endocrine system works together and has many parts including the LIVER due to your addiction I would suggest testing your LIVER function. Since your so proud of your c**k why don't you post a picture Dou*he bag.

No when you were younger testosterone contributed to your size. Now a form of testosterone DHT is causing your hair loss. Your c**k won't shrink, but it might not work properly. But I heard that oxycotin abuse does that anyway so you decide.

Is it really possible that high levels of testoserone could be causing my hairloss as well as an increased penis size? I have a doctor appointment coming up soon so would it be worth my while to get this checked? When I had an exam a while back the doc commented about my size. Some trade off eh?
And even if they find that I do have high levels of testoserone, can they reduce it to stop my hair loss, if so will my c**k shrink and will I grow boobs?

Also medications like propecia can cause erectile dysfunction.

You can get hair transplants from your chest, stomach and back of head not legs and back. Search dr, Woods technique. Considered it before, but to expensive. Gonna have a kid next year. Anyway the cause of your big c**k could also be the cause of your hair loss. Hormones are a B**ch. I would suggest staying away for propecia or any other medication that would block any hormone your body naturally produces. Same boat only I'm 25 at least it is happening later in life for you. I wear hats alot too and my head is shaved.
