no erection for the past few days, what do i do?

Hey,
I am 25 and for the past few days i have been unable to get an erection, i can ejaculate but that too with a limb penis, this has left me embarrassed and frustrated,
Sometime i do get a morning wood but that vanishes as soon i touch it, very recently I had high fever and a bad throat infection therefore i was on HEAVY antibiotics,
I survive on 8 cigs a day, occasional beer drinker and dont have sex that often but do cam with my girl once a day and jerk off.

Please tell me if it is a medical or a mental problem are these prblems common?, i feel very sad and feeling less confident and less of a man everyday..pls help

I am li'l less than 5'10 (5'9.5) and 68 Kgs, never had a big health problem in my life and have no medical history whatsoever.

Pls pls help, i need it

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Psychological reasons are one of the important causes of erectile dysfunction. Talk to your partner openly and discuss the relationship issues. Lifestyle choices like excessive smoking, being overweight and avoiding exercise are other possible causes. In such cases quitting smoking, losing excessive weight, and increasing physical activity may help some men regain sexual function. In your case, smoking and beer consumptions may be the culprits for which I suggest you to stop the two for a while.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
