Telfast is an antihistamine.
Reparil reduces swelling, has an anti-inflammatory effect and relieves pain.

As your symptoms have now subsided you could stop using these meds now, or carry on until you see your doctor tomorrow and ask his advice.

If the medication was prescribed to you, then yes you should complete the course even though you do feel better.  I presume this is an antibiotic and it is probably because of taking the antibiotic that the swelling has subsided.  You did not say in your previous posts that you were prescribed with anything.

I would still keep the appointment and see your doctor on Saturday.

Best wishes.

I agree with the hospital that it is likely to be an allergy, as the swab tests came back normal.  I presume they did take a skin swab test to get that checked out by the lab!

It is good that they are trying to find the cause though and that they have booked you in to have an ultrasound scan done.  You will have to wait and see what it shows up.  If nothing is found, and there are no other symptoms apart from the swelling, either leave things alone and see what happens, or book a routine appointment to see your doctor for a referral to a urologist.  No point guessing and speculating what it may or may not be.

Hope all goes well tomorrow and the swelling starts to subside on its own.

thank you very much for this reply. i went to the hospital and so far no concluded explanation has been given but suggestion of allergy is what they say might be the cause.this  due to the fact that i feel no pain and so far no coloring, itching and is still painless as i speak to you. so they have booked me for an ultra sound scan tomorrow. what is your suggestion?

This may  be a sign of infection and especially if the penis is red too.

You would need to get a proper diagnosis  by the doctor and may need a course of antibiotics if the doctor confirmed that this is a bacterial infection.  The doctor would probably take a swab so that it can be sent to the lab to identify any bacterial or fungal problems.  Antibiotics do not treat fungal infections.

Make sure that you practice good hygiene.  Because you are working out at the gym, you will be sweating a lot and with you being overweight (size of my belly"), Fungus loves warm and moist areas and it is not uncommon to get fungal problems in the creases of your skin and your penis.  If you do notice any itching or soreness, this is likely to be a fungal problem and would need treating with antifungal medications.

You are doing well by regularly exercising, which will help you to lose weight.  You do not need to go to a gym to do workouts, these can be done at home and good exercise is walking and swimming too.

Best wishes.
