Asperger son with suicidal depression feeling lost

I am a single mom of two teens. I struggle with a severe form of spinal arthritis. Feeling a bit better. Still depressed with another medical procedure looming. I'm worried. My son is 18 now but frequently says he will kill himself or he lashes out at others. We tumble along as best we may but it is difficult alone. Anyone out there relate?
thanks

yup, way ahead of you here. He's been seeing a psychiatrist since 3rd grade who put him on prozac. I am well aware of the risks. More than advice I need folks to talk to who also deal with the tough mood swings of asperger teens.
thank you

Hello Moonmom801,

I just finished reading your comments. Is it possible your son is going through a depression ? Perhaps you could make an appointment with
your family doctor for your son. Perhaps another family member could
take you son to the appointment. We I hear things like your son says he
wants to kill himself that comes under the heading of suicidal thoughts.
People who say things like this often are suffering from depression.
Perhaps you son should go to counselling to get some anger management
strategies. I will you well and good luck with your upcoming procedure. Eve
