Complex Migraines???

Hello to all I have posted this qustion in the Neuro Forum also but can use any help I can get.

I have been a member of the MS Forum for a few months now but since my DX I came here in hopes to get some answers.

I have had some stroke like symptoms that have lasted since February of this year.  It started with the left side of my face and a mild headache at the top/center front of my head at the hairline.  All symptoms were typical of Bell's Palsy except I could wrinkle my forehead.  I was Dx w/ Bell's Palsy but the Neuro that DX me questioned it about a couple of weeks in.  My Right Eye would twitch, I had extreme exhaustion, and I started to have pain in my right forearm (from my elbow to my wrist.)  After a month and a half and my Symptoms improving about 85%.  I developed a total weakness on the left side of my body. After a week, muscles spasms started and eventually moved from the left side to also affecting the right, in various places. I have nerve pain/ burning. As well as developed migraines that were consistent and on going for about a month on the left side of my head. 6 months from the start and 3 Neuro's, I have been dx with Complex Migraines w/ possible mini stroke.  I still get sever muscle spasms throughout my body, Migraines come and go.  I have kept a Diary but still have yet to find a trigger as to what is setting them off.  I have on many occasions waked with a migraine in the morning.  I take Relpax at the start of a migraine if I am able to catch it in time.  I am also on Lyrica for the nerve pain.  I have had 2 MRI of my Brain w/without contrast, no lesions were found. As well as a MRI of my neck and spine, also came out normal.  I have had an LP with low protein levels and an increased ANA but was told it was nothing to be concerned with.  So after all blood test an angiogram and EKG, MS was ruled out along with cerebral vasculitious.
With my Dx of Complex migraines at what point should my symptoms go away?  I have had issues for over 6 months now.  Is there anything else that I can take, or do to help with my recovery?  I also questioned whether or not to ask my Neuro about putting me on Topamax to help get the migraines under control.  Is this an option for a sufferer of complex migraines?  Also since my LP didn't show signs of MS and my MRI's showed no lesions am I safe to say that this is not MS and I will not have it in the future?  I have had, at one time or another just about every symptom listed for MS.  My brother was Dx with MS 5 years ago and he is a year and 1/2 younger than I.
Please help with any information that you have.  I have yet to find much information on Complex Migraines and feel that I need to learn more about them.
Thank you,
Aura

Thank you.  My main question is...

Since my symptoms have been going on for months (Not days) is it possible that I am having Silent complex migraines on top of the ones I can feel?

I need help understanding this.

Thanks,
Aura

Your question is: Anything else I can do to help with my recivery? YES
Start doing this now and you will start to notice  a difference in days.Do whatever you can with concentration.Remember it is the systematic approach to the breathing and the duration which helps the recovery.
You need to help your body to build up your immune system. The breathing exercises - pranayam is a holistic approach creating extra oxygen supply in the body and will slowly help with the health problem.Do the pranayam to see the benefits. If you feel tired or dizzy stop and resume after 1 minute or later.Build up your timing slowly and after two weeks at the suggested duration you will start to notice benefits.

Bhastrika - Take a long deep breath into the lungs(chest not tummy) via the nose and then completely breathe out through the nose.Duration upto 5 minutes.

Kapalbhati -(Do it before eating) Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for upto 30 minutes twice a day.(Max 60 min/day) Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently.

Anulom Vilom - Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Repeat this cycle for 20 to 30  minutes twice a day(maximum 60 minutes in one day).
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs. You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.
Duration : 5 to 10 times
----
Only by doing you will benefit and will feel good that you can do something to help the body.Copy and print this to master the technique. This is  simplified pranayam for everyone and you do not have to go to classes to learn. This is for life unlike short term classes where you do it in the class then stop when classes are over.

Hello Dear,

In complex migraineudden narrowing  and dilatation of arteries causes headache and during the spasm certain parts of the brain may receive too little blood, and this may cause the stroke-like symptoms It can take several days to return to normal.
The common symptoms of complex migraine are diplopia, weakness, loss of coordination, heaviness of the limbs, loss of sensation. If the MRI shows normal findings it is good. Develop a regular sleep pattern also massage will help you.Meditation will help decrease pain and increase concentration and self confidence.Avoid stressful events.  Butalbital, Isometheptene and dichloralphenazone can be used if your physician suggests. You do not seem to get MS but should be careful.
