Hi,
How are you? Hemiplegic migraine headache may present with extreme pain, minor paralysis, pins-and-needles feeling, numbness, nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light and sounds. This is also associated with genetic causes or defects in the three genes linked with hemiplegic migraine . Treatment may include preventive medications such as an anticonvulsant medication or calcium channel blocker or acute medications prescribed by your doctor. Have this checked by your doctor or be referred to a neurologist for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
