Headache forever

I have had a headache for about three months now. My primary care doctor has put me on Butalbitol, Valium, Innopran, and done a ct scan that was normal. My mother had 2 cerebral aneurysms that ruptured when she was a little older than me. My headache is mostly in and around my left temple, a stabbing pain and behind my eye, also a stabbing pain. I can take the Bupap and it helps for a while but the headache is always there. I am making an appt with a neuro doc..the only thing that helps right now is a heating pad..Any suggestions??

CT of brain (?) is normal. You already have an app with Neuro, pls post his opinion in this forum, after you see him.

As of now, you can try steam inhalations, and see if it helps. It is because some minor issues in the nose on the same side can cause similar aches.

Best rgds,

Did anything in your life change at the time of the onset of headache.  I have a similar headache to you, it's been constant for 6 months now and like you no abnormalities on my ct scan.  I have tried various medications, and none have worked as yet.  Mine is more of a dull ache but stabbing pains occur sometimes, i'm investigating the possibility of wrong glasses now.  Unfortunately because of my researcH i seem to know more than my GP.  Have you had a diagnosis?
