Brett i have these symptoms. What were the chronic sinus headaches like?
Mine are at the top of my head a small sore spot on the right hand side kinda wear a hair band would sit. The pain is a dull ache and so sore.
Does this sound like yours???
Mine is worse of an evening
Thanks so much for the replies.
I recently got my new lenses and they seemed to have helped some. I also bought some non-medicated saline nasal spray which has also helped. While it hasnt cleared up all the symptoms 100%, it is much better.
Today I had a doctor appointment, and my doctor recommended that I try a Neti Pot like the one found here.

After reading some of these reviews, I'm hoping this will help. Many people with chronic sinusitis, claims this has helped them tremendously.
Each year, I tend to suffer with seasonal allergies. The majority of the time the symptoms are your typical sneezing, coughing, runny nose, etc... Currently I have none of these symptoms, just the (sinus?) pressure feeling in my head.
Also, I was very suprised that my doctor was interested in the cleanse I had just completed. She printed off all the ingredients/herbs from the website and is looking into them. She also took some blood to look into it further.
i forgot to comment on your post!! lol.. sorry. i have a friend that experienced similar symptoms after taking that same cleanse. i also have tried it... and had nast headaches almost everyday while on it... but againm, im not sure if the headaches were caused from the cleanse or not. i will ask a few more people i know who have done cleanses... and see if theres any info i can get for you!!!
HI THERE!! i was diagnosed with migraines YEARS ago.... and it was just recently that i was diagnosed with chronic sinusitis. it is absolutely awful!!! the pain is almost unbearable. i was diagnosed with it by my prenatal doctor 4 months ago ( iam currently 5 months pregnant) and have had sinus pain and stuffiness EVERYDAY for at least the last 5 months. my doctor is thinking that i dont have migraines at all, it is all sinus related. but it only affects the left side of my body. left arm and hard sometimes go numb, my lips go numb as well as my left cheek and ear. i see read spots, i definately cant drive, and i feel like im slurring my words when i talk. i did notice that my nasal passages seem to be stuffed up whenever i have a migraine. so im thinking that i do have chronic sinusitis and migraines combined. mri and ct scan came up clear... but my face xrays showed extra fluid in my sinuses. i dont know what to think or where to go from here. and because i am pregnant, there really isnt a whole lot they can do for me right now. if you know of something that i dont, please feel free to comment!!
Hi,
I feel that you are still anxious about the symptoms that you went through after the detoxification. This could manifest as daily headaches. This may be a case of tension headaches. Also, I would think of an eye problem as well as a probable cervicogenic headache.
I suggest that you wait for the new lenses and see if they will improve your symptoms. Also, try to get a good support for the neck and back. A bad posture and poor neck and head support may lead to headaches.
Do your headaches occur everyday? If they do not, then taking pain relievers may help. Take pain relievers only when necessary.
Are there any known triggers for the headaches like bright lights, food and loud noises?
You describe symptoms that I have had for 3 months now since coming down with a 103 degree fever back in early February. I am very active and healthy, so this has been hard to take. I never feel symptom free, some of the pressure headaches i"ve had stop me in my tracks. I did get an mri 6 days ago and my doc said it revealed chronic sinusitus. He gave me some antibiotics, which had me feeling better for 4 days, but now I've slipped back into feeling wierd again. I am an engineer, so I need to be on my game at work. But sometimes I feel so zoned out (especially after being on the computer for a long time-interesting you feel that too) that I have to close my eyes somewhere. 2 weeks ago I felt like I was blacking out, and my hand trembled. That part in no way sounds sinus related. I have another visit with my neuro next tuesday. Very frustrating. Any comments back would be appreciated! Bret in MN
I will add that from working in front of a computer all day, my neck does get tight and aches. My wife is a massage therapy and performs deep tissue massages on my neck to help relieve the tension. This has helped with my random/intermitten headaches but not so much the dull pressure that I feel throughout my head.
