Is this a leaking/ruptured aneurysm, or just normal headache?

Hi Medhelp,

I am a 23 yr old male, and 3 days ago, while playing an online video game in my desktop computer, I had a headache that started initially with sensitivity to light, and difficulty being able to focus my eyes on what's going on in the video game. Towards the end of the gaming session, I felt my eye sockets starting to hurt so I stopped playing for a while, took a shower and then went back to my room and turned all the lights off and went to sleep.

My condition improved a lot when I woke up an hour later, but the heaviness on the right side of my head was still there. I called my doctor as I won't be able to see him anytime soon and he reassured me that it was just my sinus acting up again. I took anti allergies, a corticosteroid spray and a decongestant as I usually do when my sinus flares up, and the following morning my condition has vastly improved.

Today (3 days since the initial headache) I don't feel any discomfort anymore, I even went to the gym yesterday, but I'm scared that it might have been a leaking aneurysm, or a sentinel leak/headache as they call it, as when I initially looked up the symptoms, mine were eerily similar to those of a leaking aneurysm. I'm just scared right now that this might actually be a leaking aneurysm that I overlooked and will eventually completely rupture (SAH) weeks after this incident.

It is also worth noting that I have been suffering from these sinus issues for at least once a year, in fact 5 months ago (June) I had the same symptoms which then eventually went away once I took medications for my sinus.

So yeah, I'm just scared that it might have been a leaking aneurysm, as when I looked up the symptoms they were really similar. But then again, I also saw that migraine can also present itself with sensitivity to light and double vision.
