Menstral nausea headache

Hello! I am 34 years old for the past 2 years I have been getting nausea with constant headache for 6 days before my period. It's to the point where I'm on zofran and have maxalt for headache. I can't leave my house because I feel like I'm going to vomit but I don't. I guess that's a good thing, lol zofran works. Once I get my period it goes away! Anyone experience this or have any feedback thank you!!!

He'll thank you! I had a question my doc gave me Maxalt and zofran. They both work great. But I noticed I feel tight in my chest and throat a little after a hour of taking it. Is this normal? Thank you please get back to me.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? Hormone changes especially prior to menstruation may indeed trigger headache or migraine attacks. Migraine usually presents with other symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound. Rest, pain medication and ice pack may help. Take care and do keep us posted.
