Please help

My wife has been suffering from episodes of passing out which is almost always associated with mild to very severe headaches, and often migranes. She is usually uncontious for only about 20 seconds. We can find no pattern other than she usually feels weak before fainting. She did this for about a year, almost once a week. Then we found out she was pregnant and it seemed to just go away whild she was pregnant and about 5 months afterwards. She hadn't had any episodes for about a year and a half until recently. Now she has passed out 3 out of 4 days and has had a headache almost continuously for all four days. Two out of 4 days has been a major migrane on the right side of her head. We have a 5 month old baby and we are both scared to death she will pass out and drop our child. All tests have been normal except for a tilt table test in which she almost fainted but didn't. They diagnosed her with Nuero Cardio-genic Syncope. This hasn't helped us at all. I hope someone out there can give us something to go on. I would really appreciate all comments/suggestions.
Thanks

HI...was she checked for hormone levels...the reason I ask is u said once she was pregnant it stopped for a while and the body adjusts and creates diff levels of hormones while pregnant.....so it may be she is lacking something while not pregnant??

Just a thought
Good Luck

Where did your wife go for the tilt table test?  How close are you to Vanderbilt U. Med. Center? They have an Autonomic Dysfunction Center there. They would be your nearest, and probably best bet for correct treatment of NCS, if that's truly what it is.

If you repost this in the Dysautonomia forum, someone there they be able to give you more specific info for this condition.
