Sharp left temple headaches

Hello, my daughter is a 17yr old college student who has woken up every day since Sunday with sharp stabbing pain in left temple. She is a frequent headache sufferer already and takes Gabapentin daily. We were thinking it was due to her period at first, but the headaches seem to be lasting longer than usual. Also she has been feeling wobbly throughout the day. Could these symptoms be stress related? She had a panic attack yesterday before an exam. Plus, she's double majoring, one of which is in engineering. Advice?
