Pain is not the only symptom of a migraine. You could likely be experiencing a migraine and moving your head brings on the pain.

Thank you. I know you said that moving your head makes migraines worse, but is moving your head what causes a migraine? I don't have this pain in my head unless I move it, so moving my head isn't making any pains worse, moving my head is what causes the pain. And as soon as I am still again, the pain is gone, until the next time I move my head.

It could be a migraine. Migraines are often in just one area of the head at a time. And I know moving my head makes my migraines worse. I would make an appt with your doctor to discuss it and get a diagnosis. Until you can get in to see your doctor try Excedrin and/or an ice pack.
