migrains intenisfied by altitude

My wife suffers from headaches periodicaly and more so since we've move to a city that 6,000 ft. Is this alt. high enough to icrease or effect her for more migrain headaches?

High altitude even of 6000 ft causes a drop in barometric pressure which is a known migraine trigger and can cause migraines.
