Stroke symptoms with migraine

I've posted before about this but decided to try again...

Does anyone have any experience with migraines with stroke symptoms? I was worked up for MS in 2012 and thankfully everything was negative. My neuro doc said the cause of my symptoms was migraines with stroke like symptoms.

In 2012 I had left leg weakness and foot drop, dizziness which lasted for months, lateral nystagmus, loss of balance etc.The reason I ask now is bc I still have left leg weakness and tingling on the entire left side of my body. The tingling is constant with intense waves of tingling.

I've read migraines with stroke symptoms are benign but I'm wondering if I should expect things to get better. Does anyone else have lingering neuro symptoms after a migraine? And yes I've thought about letting my neuro doc know about this, but I'm afraid she'll want to do more testing... my deductible is $3000.

Hi there.  Do you have these?  Been officially diagnosed?

Similar, I was DX'd with Chiari Malformation.

Many of the symptoms are very similar....

do u have a copy of ur MRI and the report?

Hi there. Yep... Had MRIs of head. Cervical and thoracic spine... Blood work... Lumbar puncture... Vision testing etc. I had a full work up by a neurologist but all came back fine. Just my history of migraines along with 2 small spots in my left frontal lobe were all the doc could find to lead to the dx of migraine with stroke symptoms.

Have you had any experience with this?

  Hi....wondering if u had a Brain MRI done and what the MRI and report reveled?

Also a cervical spine MRI would be something to have reviewed......

JMHO
