Diet/migraines a connection?

Could an absence of vegetables and fruits from a persons diet cause or contribute to migraines/numbness-tingling in head/face?

yeah, it definitely could be. Are you doing South Beach Diet or something? I would say back off and try a general low cal. diet like Weight Watchers instead of something as drastic as SB.
Try to eat a balanced diet every day.

Hi,
How are you? Migraine can be triggered with certain foods as well as part of the cure. Foods rich in tyramine, caffeine, preservatives, and chocolate are the suspect component of many foods that are considered migraine triggers. Tyramine is prevalent in aged or preserved foods and smoked meats. On the other hand, a nutritious diet can also be a part of the cure. Skipping meals and fasting can trigger migraines or worsen their symptoms. It is important that you identify your migraine triggers to be able to avoid them and prevent recurrences. Take care and best regards.
