Do I Have Occipital Neuralgia?

Hello,
For over 2 months now I have been experiencing almost constant head pain that I think sounds like occipital neuralgia, but I am not sure. I am not someone who has had many headaches in my life thankfully. I'll probably have one a few times a year, if that. My pain started, oddly enough, when I held in a sneeze at work. I immediately had pain in my left temple region that would not go away. Not real bad pain, maybe like a 2 on a scale of 1-10. Since then the pain has moved all over the left side of my head - the top, my crown area, the back - even into my face - eye area, forehead, cheek bone, jaw line. Sometimes it's very pinpointed in one area, sometimes all over. My scalp has become very tender to the point where I can't lay on my left side anymore. It hurts too much. I've tried Ibuprofen, Aleve, Tylenol, heating pad...nothing seems to help. I have seen a neurologist, and when I brought up occipital neuralgia she immediately said it wasn't that because I would be in severe pain. My pain is usually around a 3, but I think it's getting worse. Does this sound like occipital neuralgia or something else? Anyadvice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

Do you get this pain whenever you're doing anything else that may cause your head to bounce?

Not that I've noticed. Nothing I do really seems to bring it on or take it away. The intensity of the pain will vary throughout the day for no apparent reason. It does seem to get worse when I am stressed though.
