I am so glad you posted this question! For years, I have been describing headaches as electrical currents and getting blank stares with no idea what I was talking about! Zoloft has been effective in dealing with my mood and light sensitivity; however, the headaches remained. The most effective treatment I have found was proposed by a new neurologist I've been seeing. He suggested 150mg daily of CoQ10 (OTC) and an increased does of Riboflavin. The best daily vitamin I found to get a good mix of needed supplements is  2 tablets of Headachefree Vitamins. (http://www.headachefreevitamins.com). I continue on the Zoloft to keep on an even keel, but after about 3 months on the supplements, my headaches have gone from an everyday occurrence to 2-3 times per week. Good luck!

Hi,

How are you?
You are experiencing what are known as brain zaps. Brain zaps are a side effect of all the antidepressant medications. Are you taking any such medication?
Other possibilities include stress and anxiety. I would suggest you to do some relaxation exercises like meditation and keep yourself physically active.
Take care!

Stress can do crazy things to your body I would go see a psychiatrist or psychologist and see if many they suggest you be put on Zoloft or something of the sort in order to help with the stress level and depression which could very well be causing the pain.

I have experienced the same thing and still do on a daily basis... Have you ever taken Topomax? B/c I am certain that that is what caused this pain for me.
