Long lasting pain in the back of right side of the head and neck.

I am 20 y/o student. Having some important exams rn so I have been in the books the whole day for the last 5-6 days. This pain started like 2 days ago. Most severe on right side of the head a little above the head neck junction.I can't even move my head freely because of this. Hurts a lot when I move my neck a little especially when I move it to the left side. I have applied some relief cream and sprays. They are effective for some hours then they wear off. And the pain has now spread to my ears. More in the right than in left ear.
And the only way I can kinda sleep is on my back and not moving at all.

Honestly, this sounds like classic tension headache.  Try this . . . put an ice pack on the head area.  A physical therapist told me to do this as I have an injury that then gets triggered by stress.  It helps.  Also, massage is amazing.  Even a self massage. How to do this?  Get a tennis ball and lay on it rolling your head on the area or use your hands.  Or if you have someone that can do it, that's perfect.  There are a ton of little muscles interconnected in that area and as one area gets tight, it pulls on another area.  Ibuprofen is good for relaxing and pain relief.  That's my best advice to you, hope it helps.

Well I can't figure out how to edit this post. I just want to added my neck and back of head also hurts a little when I am chewing or when I yawn cough or sneeze. If I don't apply anything on the area it become a stabbing and pulsating pain. I can't even study because of this pain. And when I lie on my stomach and sides and then move my head it hurts a lot.
