Hi. I actually came here today to post a similar question. I am 35 years old, with two boys. I have never had migraines before, and only the occasional sinus or tension headache. In the last six months, I have been getting severe headaches during the first one top two days of my menstrual cycle. I am 35 years old, and I have never experienced pain this severe. Tylenol and Ibuprophen usually works any other time, although I rarely have to take medicine, but with my menstrual headaches nothing seems work at all. I empathize with you, I don't know why this is going on either. I suppose it could be a hormone issue, since its menstrual related. Unfortunately, since I have no health insurance yet (my job benefits wont kick in uintil a few more months) Ive got to wait until my next yearly exam before I see a doctor. I'll keep you posted if I find any info that could help. Hope you feel better.

Oh ye i also get these a day or 2 before my cycle starts, ugh they are terrible but for me im such a light weight I just take childrens motrin for my weight and within 20 mins its gone. So maybe try adult motrin. I tried taking midol once and it was a mistake it made it so much worse. Or even if your cycle is pretty much on time about the time you start to get it take motrin right before it and maybe it will kick it before it starts. Hope this helps.
what are your menstarl migraines like????
