Thanks for your help, i have an appointment with the neurologist, so hopefully come monday will figure it out
HI...I can only suggest u go to a Neurologist and ask for brain MRI's to rule out something else.
The blackouts r concerning and should be reviewed closley.
Good luck

I agree with tjj3761, you need to see a doctor, sooner rather than later. I doubt that blacking out for up to 10 minutes is syncope. I have syncope, and I black out for only seconds to a minute.
If you do have syncope and are staying unconscious for that long, that's seriously not good. There's also a slight possibility that you're having absence seizures, and you need to get that checked out asap.
good luck,

Hi,
Sorry to hear about your migraines and blackouts.
If you have not done so already, I would call and make an appointment first with your primary medical doctor. Then possibly from there with a neurologist.
I myself also have had migraines for almost 40 years. I have never had near syncope or syncope (blackouts) with my migraines.
I think this is separate from your migraines. It sounds like something else going on. Sometimes medical things such as low blood sugar, high blood sugar, and even low blood pressure can cause syncope.
As far as your migraines, have you tried any of the new medicines out there like Topamax? I myself have been on Imitrex tablets and/or shots, which works well for me.
I hope this has been of some help to you. Please contact your doctor for an appointment. Feel better soon!
