Mystery headaches

I get these odd headaches frequently.  The pain and fullness occur throughout my face (upper jaw to hairline). It feels like fullness or pressure and it's painful.  It feels as if a tight band is around my head.  I've been to an allergist, an ENT - no allergies or sinus issues.  Had a ct scan of my brain and sinus and an MRI of the brain.  What could this be?  I don't know where to begin, it's very frustrating.  The headaches are becoming a nuisance and no one seems to have any idea where they come from.  I don't like taking medication but I'm now taking over the counter pain meds (ibuprofen, etc) about 2 - 3 times a week.  Please help.

Thanks for the quick response.  I've also confirmed w/my dentist that I don't have TMJ or any other issues.  I've also seen a neurologist and a neurosurgeon.  I cannot understand what causes this.  I plan to visit my gp again and have a full blood work up for autoimmune disorders just to be safe.  I'd also like to see a neurosurgeon again.

Hi,

Since the common causes of pain and fullness in the face and head like sinusitis, ear infections and allergies have been ruled out; it becomes important to rule out dental issues which can also cause similar symptoms.
I would suggest you to get a dental exam done by a specialist. Do keep us posted.
