Pain behind the right eye when I look up or up and left

I get pain behind the right eye when I look up or up and left which lead to headaches.  Ophthalmologist did not find anything and CT scan showed nothing.  So its not sinus or optic neuritis.  Now I am seeing a neurologist who is doing an MRI but he is already saying he does not know what to do if the MRI doesn't find anything.  The pain feels like a deep, dull ache.  Looking down and relaxing my eye helps.   Also, my doc ruled out migraine.  I get those and Relpax work fine for them, but not for this.  Anybody have any experience with this?  Thanks!

Yes, i know waiting can be difficult at times but before you know it, the 6 days are up. You can always have another opinion if the results were not conclusive. However, try not to think of the outcome and stress yourself at this time. Relax and take care.

Thank you!  I will post the MRI results in a couple weeks (scan is a week away).  I was trying to come up with strategies if the MRI didn't show anything obvious.  The neurologist worried me a bit because he seemed concerned that it may not and wasn't sure where to go if it wasn't conclusive.  But I guess its still wait and see time.  6 weeks and counting!  :)

Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? It is good that the CT scan result was fine and you were cleared by the ophthalmologist. It could indeed be due to neurological or muscle issues. However, the MRI would really be helpful in the diagnosis and provide us with a more detailed information of the anatomy surrounding the eye that could be responsible for your symptoms.  Do keep us posted with the MRI result. Take care and regards.
