Hi
Yes, assessment of your cervical spine may be necessary as there has been some findings concerning the spine that were noted before. Follow up with your physician if the pain persists despite the medications. Also, try to improve posture and get good back and neck support especially when seated or when lying down. You may ask your orthopedic surgeon about this.
Thanks for the reply. My GP put me on Celebrex and Flexeril and told me to call on Thursday to see if it helped. However, I did make an appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon for Thursday just to rule out that this problem is not related to my cervical spine.

Hi.
A primary differential in your case will be a cervicogenic headache. This is a headache caused by a disorder of the cervical spine .Pain may be referred to the face and the head.
I suggest you seek follow up consult with your physician. A scan of the cervical spine may help at this point just to assess if this could be the source of the headaches.
Based on the location of the pain I also suggest that you seek consult with an ENT specialist just to rule out any underlying involvement of the ears and sinuses.
Do you have previous episodes of sinusitis?
Any ear or nasal discharge for instance?
