Sharp sudden pain in the left side of my head?

Hi, so I've been having a severe sharp pain that lasts only a couple seconds when I move suddenly from right to left in the left side of my head and I don't know if it's anything bad or if I need to go and get it looked at. I'm fairly young and I'm not sure if it could be something with my back. What should I do is this common please help.

Hi and welcome to the Migraines & Headaches Community.

Sounds like ice pick migraines but, yes I do think it is worth getting it checked out.

Yes, go to the doctor.

If it comes when you move your head in a certain way it might be a nerve in your neck that is being squeezed.
