Spine pain after epidural

I had an epidural during my labor. Right after, my pressure kept dropping and I got shooting pains up and down my spine and headache. It only numbed the left side of my body. Now for the last 48 hrs, I still keep getting the pains shooting up and down my spine and headaches. I feel it much more when I lay down. I am very aware of my posture this is my 6th child and it's never happened before. I have read the facts that this might not be associated with having the epidural but I wanted to know if this could possibly be a side effect.

Hi and welcome to the Migraines & Headaches Community.

It definitely does not sound like a typical migraine headache. I would contact your doctor.
