Syndol no longer available

Please help, I don't know how I will survive without SYNDOL. I have been told that they are not available, i have tried 3 different chemist & they just can't get them.

Anyone know of an alternative? there are plenty of things around with paracetamol/Codine but not the magic Ingredient .

Thank you for your reply but Boots say that they haven't any of their own brand for the same reason.

The original company that manufactures Syndol and Paramol 118 have sold both of these products to a different drug manufacturer.  The product licence, packaging of both products, and accompanying product patient information leaflets are in the process of being updated.  The new and updated packs will be despatched to pharmacies in the near future. It still may be possible to purchase pre january 2012 stock however.

Boots make an cheaper alternative to Syndol called Boots Tension Headache Tablets. Boots Tension Headache Tablets contains Caffeine 30 mg, Codeine Phosphate 10 mg, Doxylamine Succinate 5 mg, Paracetamol 450 mg.
