dhe45 via pic line failed, depakote failed topamax failed,  triptans failled stadol rebounded, ultram, katorilac, make me voimit dilaudid, morphine er, demerol, hrdrocododone  i can not work on as i am a nurse.

The problem when medical staff approach for consultation,  is that the doctor more often than not, tends to cut corners. Having visited 6 neuros, you would now have understood how much each doctor may or may not be able to help, however much they know or not. Headache is such a fast evolving subject, that no doctor can claim to be an expert. The head and neck area is shared by neuro, spine specialist (or Ortho if he is interested;-), Dental, Eye and ENT specialists.  It will depend on your luck how many of these  people are interested in headache. You would have noticed that the neuro is not enchanted by anything happening outside the cranium.

You have mentioned about the various medicines you have taken, and have decided you have 'intractable chronic migraines'. The label may have been given by your doctor/s or yourself.

Forget about the 'diagnosis'; can you describe your headache? Try as much as possible not to use medical terminology or professional diagnoses. Do you remember the first ever headache you had?  How is your sleep?

have been to 6 neurologist in 10 yrs, I meen a pain managment  specialist. as  Mine are now intractable chronic migraines.  they never leave.

Why on earth havent you been to a specialist? Specially since you are a nurse.
I have hade a migraine for 6 months straight Iwent to a nuerologist the 3rd month in, He has helped me it has taken a while, but I think we finally got to the root of my problem. My antidepressant lexapro was causing them, (we think) The point is no drug the dr gave me was helping as long as i was still on my lexapro. The point is why arent you going to a nuerologist? Have you had Mri"s done? Please get help,
I hate to hear about people in such pain. Maybe as  a nurse, if you work in a hospital you can talk to one of the doctors and have them admit you and run the proper test till they found out what is wrong and finally get relief.  i will keep you in my prayers.
